Every T-34 that rolled from Kursk to Berlin ran on this: the V-2, an aluminium V12 diesel of around 500hp that gave the Red Army reliability when it mattered most. Turn the hand crank and all twelve pistons rise and fall under copper-tone heads, with the crankshaft and valve train working behind transparent side panels. 2,416 pieces of Soviet engineering, mounted on its own display stand.
